TO OUR SUNRISE ROLLERLAND FAMILY…
After more than five decades of memories, laughter, music, and the sound of wheels rolling across our wooden floor, Sunrise Rollerland has officially closed its doors.
Since 1973, this rink has been more than just a place to skate. It has been a place where generations learned their first strides on wheels, celebrated birthdays, went on first dates, met lifelong friends, and created memories that will last forever. Families returned year after year, parents brought their children to the same floor they once skated on themselves, and a community grew around the simple joy of roller skating.
Our final day was filled with a full floor, smiling faces, and an outpouring of love from everyone who came to roll with us one last time. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate what Sunrise Rollerland has meant to them was something we will never forget.
We are deeply grateful to every skater, employee, family, and supporter who walked through our doors over the past 53 years. You are the reason this place meant so much.
While this chapter has come to a close, the story of this building and this floor is not over. A new chapter will begin here, and we hope the spirit, memories, and history created at Sunrise Rollerland will always remain part of this place.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for 53 incredible years.
